I’m Michelle Anne Johnson.

As a leader, becoming more influential to those around you is an inside job.

Through keynotes, 1:1 executive coaching, and consulting, I show leaders how to create positive influence for themselves and those around them by stepping into their personal power. Also known as The Speech Queen, I help people move beyond simply "presenting" to embody a powerful and authentic presence that translates into greater impact.

Traditionally, the focus for greater influence has been on presentation skills: how you walk, how you talk, your posture, the way you use your hands while you speak… all the stuff you see on the outside.

But in my experience, that isn't enough.

PRESENTATION SKILLS DON'T MOVE those around you to TAKE ACTION. ONLY YOUR PRESENCE CAN. And the secret to real presence is PERSONAL POWER.

How do we develop a greater sense of personal power in the face of fake it til’ you make it? Here are the building blocks I use to help you see it so you can be it. (Think of these as my trifecta for personal power!)

Authenticity gives you a comfort and willingness to be seen by others. Authentic people create trust and relationship through empathy, connection, and integrity.

Confidence means believing that you have the skills and inner resources to meet the moment. Confident people own their inherent strengths and talents as much as their professional competencies.

Purpose isn’t just about your life purpose (although that’s important, too). Purposeful people create a vision for themselves and others and are clear about what drives them in any situation.
